The Ai Act is here and building know-how and interpreting the law to prepare to comply is top-of-mind. The research team for the project  Ethical and Legal Challenges in Relationship to AI-driven Practices in Higher Education (WASP-HS) will give a brief overview of the AI Act and what it means specifically for education and edtech companies.

Teresa Cerratto-Pargman, professor of Human-computer interaction, Stockholm University, and Liane Colonna, associate professor in law and information technology at the Department of Law, Stockholm University (SU)  will guide you through the new AI Act but also briefly present their research on ethics in AIED.
